Entity Controller – Finance Lead

About the role

The Entity Controller will own end‑to‑end accounting, control and compliance for small and mid‑size entities within Honeywell India. You will partner with finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting under US GAAP, IGAAP and IND AS, while driving process improvements and audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly financial statements, including sales bifurcation, project accounting reconciliation, inventory provisions and unbilled AR.
• Act as the primary controller for assigned entities, coordinating audit activities and ensuring compliance with IND AS, FEMA and Honeywell policies.
• Own balance‑sheet review, variance analysis and account reconciliations using BlackLine.
• Manage statutory compliance reporting and timely submission of all regulatory filings.
• Maintain transparent accounting practices and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, propose and lead automation or process‑improvement initiatives.
• Support treasury, tax and controllership projects and handle ad‑hoc auditor queries.

Required profile

• CA qualification or equivalent with 3‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in project accounting, inventory accounting and financial reporting for entities with international exposure.
• Hands‑on experience with IND AS, FEMA, US GAAP and IGAAP.
• Proven ability to lead audit coordination and statutory compliance.
