Entity Controller – Accounting, Control & Compliance

About the role

The Entity Controller will own end‑to‑end accounting, control and compliance for small and mid‑size entities. You will partner with finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting under US GAAP, IGAAP and IND AS, and support quarterly financial statement preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile project accounting, revenue, cost, inventory and unbilled AR provisions for quarterly reporting.
• Act as the primary controller for assigned entities, coordinating audits and ensuring compliance with IND AS, FEMA and internal policies.
• Drive balance‑sheet review, variance analysis, and account reconciliations using BlackLine.
• Maintain statutory compliance reporting and reduce local reporting cycle time.
• Collaborate with extended finance teams to deliver US GAAP & IGAAP‑compliant reports and support treasury, tax and controllership initiatives.
• Identify, lead and implement process‑improvement and automation projects.

Required profile

• CA qualification with 3‑5 years of experience or a semi‑qualified CA/BCom/MCom/MBA with 7‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience in project and inventory accounting for large, internationally‑present entities.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS, US GAAP, IGAAP and SOX compliance.
