Enterprise Sales Manager

About the role

Enterprise Sales Manager at Adyen, responsible for leading the full sales cycle with the company’s largest merchants and driving innovative payment solutions across retail, digital, platform and financial services. The role collaborates closely with technology, compliance, implementation and account management teams and contributes to product development for Indian merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales process for top merchants, from lead generation to closing deals and onboarding them onto the platform.
• Creatively drive innovation for merchants in retail, digital, platforms and financial services.
• Develop deep expertise in Adyen’s world‑class financial solutions and act as a trusted advisor.
• Partner with technology leaders, solution providers and internal compliance, implementation and account‑management teams.
• Provide input to the India team for building products tailored to Indian merchants.
• Travel and network approximately 25 % of the time.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven enterprise sales experience selling complex solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, PSPs, acquiring or related businesses.
• Established network of clients or industry expertise relevant to Adyen.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
• Analytical, strategic negotiator with a commercially driven, go‑get‑them attitude.
• Excellent communicator capable of articulating big ideas and uncovering complex needs.
• Resourceful self‑starter able to manage time‑sensitive tasks in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• Fluent English proficiency.
