Engineering Manager – Full Stack Team

About the role

Flipkart is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing full‑stack engineering team within the Shopsy marketplace. You will shape the technical vision, drive execution, and mentor engineers to deliver scalable, customer‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for major projects and guide a team of 8‑12 engineers.
• Define and implement the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Create clear career paths, mentor team members, and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Establish and enforce best‑practice development processes.
• Architect robust, flexible, and scalable solutions for high‑transactional systems.
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, and product managers to plan and estimate work in an Agile environment.
• Remove impediments and ensure rapid delivery while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• 10+ years of total experience in software engineering.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Deep understanding of scalable, highly available architectures.
• Expertise with large relational and complex transactional systems.
• Strong object‑oriented design skills.
• Experience managing multi‑engineer projects using Agile methodologies.
