Engineering Executive – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Executive to lead the daily engineering operations of an Accor hotel. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise the engineering team and ensure all hotel facilities run safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily engineering briefings with the Chief Engineer and allocate work assignments.
• Schedule and document both planned and unplanned maintenance for systems such as air‑conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, fire‑life‑safety equipment, low‑voltage, plumbing, kitchen and laundry equipment, and building fixtures.
• Supervise team members, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare consumption reports for power, water, steam and gas.
• Monitor contractor work to guarantee adherence to contracts, safety policies and agreed fees.
• Identify workflow improvements and communicate any service disruptions to the Chief Engineer.
• Manage staff performance, conduct inductions, schedule weekly shifts and develop training programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar engineering or facilities role within hospitality.
• Strong commitment to safety, efficiency and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a diverse engineering team.
• Professional appearance, attitude and adherence to service standards.
