About the role
Tata Communications is looking for an Engineer focused on Technology & Platform Development. The role involves the full software development lifecycle, from writing code to testing, deployment, and production support. You will work in an operational environment, collaborating with teams to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Write effective, scalable code and create test cases.
- Debug and deploy applications across environments.
- Provide ongoing support for production systems.
- Prepare and maintain the software development calendar.
- Generate reports and dashboards on project timelines, rework, and deviations.
- Conduct development testing and report issues to supervisors.
- Identify, track, and resolve bugs, executing corrective actions as needed.
Required profile
- Graduation in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field.
- 0‑4 years of relevant experience.
- Good programming skills and familiarity with software applications and tools.
- Understanding of coding and testing environments.
