Employability Skills Trainer

About the role

The Employability Skills Trainer will deliver a comprehensive 60‑day training program for young Indians from low‑income households. The program, part of the GROW initiative, focuses on core employability competencies such as communicative English, digital literacy, and basic aptitude, preparing participants for the job market.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver integrated training modules covering English grammar, spoken English, MS Office, basic mathematics, soft skills, and work readiness.
• Publish and follow the training calendar for the center.
• Assist in assessing trainees’ progress and performance.
• Provide post‑placement counseling and support.
• Coordinate with guest lecturers and industry partners to arrange field visits.
• Offer short‑term on‑site mentorship to placed trainees.
• Support the training center with additional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience or interest in adult education and skill development.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and occasional on‑site support.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
