Emergency Medicine Specialist – Full-Time, Hyderabad

About the role

The Emergency Medicine Specialist will lead the delivery of acute care in a high‑volume Emergency Department. This full‑time position requires rapid clinical decision‑making, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and supervision of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with medical and surgical emergencies.
• Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, CPR, central venous access, trauma stabilization and advanced life support.
• Provide timely treatment for trauma, cardiac emergencies, stroke, poisoning, respiratory distress and other critical conditions.
• Coordinate care with specialists, ICU, operating theatre, radiology and laboratory departments.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents and emergency nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to hospital protocols, infection control and patient safety standards.
• Participate in emergency response teams, quality improvement initiatives and continuous medical education.

Required profile

• MBBS with MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine (or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
• 5+ years of experience in an Emergency Department after specialization; fresh post‑graduates may also apply.
• ACLS, ATLS or BLS certification is an advantage.
