Embedded Software Architect – Gateway

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Architect to define and drive a scalable, high‑quality embedded software architecture for gateway products. The role requires deep expertise in C/C++ development on Linux, embedded systems, and connectivity technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system requirements into a robust technical architecture.
• Define end‑to‑end embedded software architecture, including drivers, middleware, and application layers.
• Design scalable solutions across MCU/SoC platforms, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Architect communication interfaces and integration strategies across subsystems.
• Ensure high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage while meeting safety and regulatory standards.
• Integrate connectivity modules (RF, Wi‑Fi) and support secure boot, OTA updates, and cybersecurity.
• Assess emerging technologies such as AI/ML, GenAI, and data platforms to improve platform engineering.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in embedded software development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming on Linux environments.
• Hands‑on experience with RTOS, kernel modules, device drivers, IPC, and BSP.
• Proven ability to design modular, reusable frameworks and integrate with major cloud IoT platforms.
• Knowledge of secure boot, OTA updates, and cybersecurity concepts.
