Embedded IoT Architect

About the role

We are seeking an innovative and highly experienced Embedded IoT Architect to lead the definition and development of scalable, secure, and robust end‑to‑end IoT solutions. You will bridge embedded systems, connectivity, and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across the entire IoT ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system requirements into a comprehensive technical architecture.
• Define end‑to‑end IoT architecture covering device hardware/firmware, connectivity layers, cloud services, data pipelines, and user interfaces.
• Design communication interfaces and integration strategies across subsystems.
• Architect solutions for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage while meeting safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Implement robust integration patterns between IoT devices and cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, and Google Cloud IoT Core.
• Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, data platforms) to improve embedded platform engineering and automation.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems and mentor development teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing end‑to‑end IoT architectures spanning embedded devices, connectivity, and cloud layers.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud IoT platforms.
• Strong understanding of wireless connectivity technologies and trade‑offs among performance, memory, power, and cost.
• Excellent analytical and system‑level problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication, technical mentoring, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
