Electrician – School Facilities Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join the facilities team at Oakridge International School, Visakhapatnam. You will ensure that all electrical systems operate safely and reliably, supporting a vibrant learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment across the campus.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns promptly.
• Conduct routine inspections of wiring, panels, and lighting systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on generators and backup power systems.
• Support day‑to‑day electrical requirements for school operations.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with relevant certifications.
• Willingness to undergo national and international vetting procedures, including criminal record checks.
• Ability to work safely in a school environment and follow safeguarding policies.
