About the role
We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our field team responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of smart meters in residential and commercial environments. The role involves troubleshooting faults, ensuring compliance with safety standards and supporting the overall project service level agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and resolve meter faults within agreed timelines.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly progress reporting to maintain SLA compliance.
- Conduct site surveys, wiring, and meter fitting for 2‑phase and 3‑phase installations.
- Install smart meters (AMI, DT) in residential and commercial premises.
- Book MRN numbers and record installation data using a mobile application.
- Follow company safety rules, including working at height protocols.
Required profile
- Qualified electrician or technician with experience in field installations.
- Familiarity with working on 230 V AC systems.
- Ability to work safely at heights.
