Electrical Technician – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our industrial team. The role involves installing, commissioning, and maintaining high‑voltage and low‑voltage electrical systems across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, erect, and commission transformers, HT/LT panels, RMU, synchronization and APFC panels.
• Perform cable laying, tray installation, glanding, termination and ferruling for power and control circuits.
• Carry out preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance on DG sets, power distribution networks, and utility equipment such as AHUs, chillers, heaters and exhaust fans.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, including control circuits, motors and protection devices (ACB, MCCB, VCB, relays).
• Conduct electrical testing – insulation resistance, earth resistance and continuity – and ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO and PPE safety procedures.
• Document work activities, maintain records and support continuous improvement of electrical safety standards.

Required profile

• ITI Electrician qualification or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven hands‑on experience with high‑voltage/low‑voltage installations and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, PTW and LOTO processes.
• Ability to work independently on site and follow detailed technical drawings.
