Electrical System Installation Engineer – Functional Electrics (Airframe)

About the role

Join Airbus India’s Physical Design & Integration (PDI) team as an Electrical System Installation Engineer focused on functional electrics for airframe projects. You will work on architecture and integration activities, contributing to the design, installation, and validation of aircraft electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate electrical system installation architecture for airframe projects.
• Create wiring diagrams using SEE XP, CCD and Capital toolsets.
• Manage product structure and configuration using DMU concepts.
• Maintain database records with TAKSY, GILDA and CIRCE tools.
• Drive performance KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams of specialists and experts.
• Support aircraft build processes and ensure compliance with Airbus methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in electrical system installation or functional electrics.
• Good understanding of aircraft build processes and basic aircraft systems.
• Familiarity with Airbus processes and methods is an advantage.
