Electrical System Installation Engineer (Functional Electrics) - Airframe

About the role

The Physical Design & Integration (PDI) team is responsible for the architecture and integration of Airframe Electrical System Installation (ESI) and Mechanical System Installation (MSI). This role focuses on functional electrics within the airframe, contributing to concept studies and system integration activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate airframe electrical system architecture and installation concepts.
• Create wiring diagrams using SEE XP, CCD and Capital toolsets.
• Manage configuration and product structure using DMU and related tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional specialists to drive performance KPIs and continuous improvements.
• Support aircraft build processes and ensure compliance with Airbus methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in electrical system installation, functional electrics and configuration management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Customer‑centric mindset and ability to coordinate diverse specialist teams.
