Electrical New Product Manufacturing Engineer

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions, is seeking an Electrical New Product Manufacturing Engineer for its Bangalore site. Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and release new product BOMs for medium‑complex assemblies under guidance of senior NPME.
• Partner with senior NPMEs to define manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies and to review electrical schematics, panel cable routing, and 3‑D cable routing analyses.
• Create and validate Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium‑complex assemblies.
• Manage change requests, including NSRs, ECOs, CCB actions, SPSs, and ESWs.
• Lead the Managed Build process for assemblies/modules and document product‑related issues.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, and operate in a clean‑room environment with appropriate PPE.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and relocate if needed.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Electrical NPME processes and new product BOM development.
• Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Test (DFTp), and ITO analysis.
• E3S schematic review, panel cable routing, and 3‑D solid‑model cable routing (Master Layout, Digital Mock‑Up).
• Creation and validation of Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium‑complex assemblies.
• Execution of change‑control procedures (NSR, ECO, CCB, SPS, ESW).
