Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Laundry Facility

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Electrical & Mechanical Technician to keep our laundry facility’s machines and utilities running smoothly. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial washing machines, dryers, hydro extractors and finishing equipment.
• Maintain boilers, steam lines, valves, pumps and other utility systems.
• Handle electrical wiring, control panels, contactors, relays, MCB/MCCB, motors and sensors.
• Diagnose and fix PLC‑controlled machines, VFDs and related control circuits.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule and keep accurate records.
• Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, valves, pumps and other mechanical components.
• Provide urgent breakdown support during shifts and emergencies.

Required profile

• ITI Electrician or Diploma in Electrical.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with industrial machine maintenance.
• Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
• Preferable experience in laundry, textile, garment, hotel laundry or similar industrial settings.

Required skills

• Industrial electrical wiring and fault finding.
• Knowledge of 3‑phase motors, control panels, PLC, VFD and sensors.
• Familiarity with contactors, relays, MCB/MCCB.
• Basic mechanical maintenance abilities.
