Electrical Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing

About the role

Join Johnson Matthey as an Electrical Maintenance Technician and help keep our manufacturing operations safe, reliable, and efficient. You will work on a range of production equipment, ensuring high availability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment and utilities.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects through root‑cause analysis, 5S, Kaizen and energy‑saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards.

Required profile

• ITI qualification in Electrical or Electronics.
• 8–12 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLC‑controlled machines, pneumatics, hydraulics, AC drives, conveyors and robotic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
