Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of plant electrical equipment. The role involves performing scheduled and emergency repairs, supporting projects, managing spare‑part inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation while complying with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly electrical maintenance plans to guarantee safe and reliable plant operation.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on all electrical assets.
• Follow all relevant policies, procedures and standard operating instructions.
• Develop and standardise test procedures and best‑practice guidelines for electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with planning and plant maintenance teams to schedule activities.
• Manage inventory of electrical spare parts, including identification, tracking and inspection.
• Troubleshoot, repair and refurbish electrical components and systems.
• Conduct task‑based risk assessments, obtain permits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support implementation of MOCs, CAPEX projects and cost‑budgeting for electrical maintenance.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and drive timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of electrical maintenance practices in an industrial environment.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures and safety protocols.
• Experience with risk assessment and permit‑to‑work processes.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and compliance documentation.
