Electrical Engineer – Design & Development

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductor and display technologies. The Electrical Engineer will design and modify electrical assemblies, perform analysis, generate test reports, and troubleshoot moderate‑complex electrical problems.

Key responsibilities

• Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings or specifications of moderate scope.
• Perform basic engineering analysis and generate test reports with related documentation for product releases.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex electrical problems and implement solutions of moderate difficulty.
• Assist in developing electrical product specifications and clearly communicate information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex information.

Required skills
