Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

Meet Studio LLP is seeking an Electrical Designer to join its Surat office and work closely with U.S.-based engineering teams. You will be involved in the full design cycle of electrical systems for a variety of building types across the United States, from concept through construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical building systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and low‑voltage layouts.
• Prepare plans, schematics, single‑line diagrams, panel schedules, load calculations and construction documents.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and fire‑protection disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IBC, IECC and other applicable codes.
• Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings with U.S. engineering teams.
• Produce accurate drawings and BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD and BIM 360.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience designing electrical building systems.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. electrical codes and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to work independently under remote guidance and attend evening overlap with U.S. teams.
