Electrical Design Engineer – Design Engineer II

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer (Design Engineer II) to design and develop new electrical products that support the growth of our product line. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to bring concepts from prototype to production while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including PCB layouts, circuits, components, sensors, and special layout requirements.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards such as IPC and IEC.
• Research and evaluate electronic sub‑component replacements for obsolescence management.
• Perform circuit design, troubleshooting, and prototype build‑test activities.
• Assist manufacturing in transitioning prototypes to full production.
• Prepare and maintain PCB documentation and sign‑off in PLM systems (e.g., Windchill).
• Develop factory acceptance test procedures for internal and customer requirements.
• Organize tasks, manage ordering and delivery of equipment/materials, and facilitate efficient assembly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Provide post‑project support, including remote or onsite troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical design, PCB layout, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (IPC, IEC).
• Familiarity with PLM tools, specifically Windchill.
• Ability to manage prototype development and transition to production.
• Strong organizational skills for task and material management.
