Electrical Design Engineer (Building)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our building engineering team in Gurugram. You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing electrical systems for complex building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical schematics and select appropriate components for building projects.
• Optimize designs for performance, cost and manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues and support prototype development.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare documentation and reports for project stakeholders.

Required profile

• B.Tech (Electrical) with 20 years of experience in building projects.
• Strong understanding of work commitments and ability to work in a cross‑functional environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or Altium Designer.
• Experience using circuit simulation software.
• Ability to perform electrical calculations and load analysis.
• Familiarity with industry standards for building electrical systems.
