About the role
Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking an experienced Eclipse Plugin Developer to join its Bangalore development centre. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining Eclipse‑based tooling for automotive software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse requirements, design and implement new plugin features using EMF, RCP, Xtext and Xtend.
- Ensure high code quality and tool stability through unit testing, static analysis and continuous integration.
- Mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies – planning, review, retrospective – and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
- Manage delivery and configuration tasks, supporting CI pipelines with Jenkins and related tools.
Required profile
- Quality‑oriented mindset with a focus on improving code quality and maintainability.
- Proactive in proposing redesigns for better performance and scalability.
- Strong communication skills to interact with other development groups and guide the team.
- Ability to work independently while taking ownership of tasks.
