Early Years Teacher – Full‑time

About the role

Bright Horizons is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join its Mumbai daycare centre. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑6 and acting as the main point of contact for families.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lesson plans aligned with the early years curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment by following all health, safety and safeguarding policies.
• Document children’s experiences, track progress and plan next steps for development.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues and external professionals to support each child’s learning journey.
• Manage dietary, health and individual care needs of children.
• Apply positive behaviour management techniques and promote diversity and equality.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and performance appraisals.
• Promote the centre to current and prospective families.

Required profile

• Early Years or Education qualification.
• Experience working with young children in a professional setting.
• Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
• Understanding of child development, including children with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child protection procedures.
• Patience, strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Early childhood education knowledge.
• Lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
• Basic ICT proficiency for record‑keeping.
