E-commerce Logistics & Operations Manager

About the role

Modern Casa, a growing home & lifestyle e‑commerce brand, is seeking an experienced E‑commerce Logistics & Operations Manager to own and optimise daily shipping, courier coordination and warehouse activities. The role ensures orders are processed, dispatched and delivered on time while managing returns and reverse logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily order processing, shipping label generation and dispatch, ensuring timelines are met.
• Identify and resolve dispatch exceptions such as unprocessable shipments, address issues and out‑of‑stock orders.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, reconcile shipments with courier manifests and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with courier partners and shipping aggregators, monitor shipments across all stages and raise escalations for delays or errors.
• Track and reconcile RTO and return shipments, ensure proper receipt, scanning and documentation at the warehouse.
• Manage courier escalations, raise claims with proper documentation and maintain a central tracker.
• Supervise the warehouse operations team to ensure timely picking, packing, scanning and return processing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in e‑commerce logistics, shipping and warehouse management.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor performance, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with customer support, inventory and finance teams.
