Duty Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Duty Manager to join our luxury hotel team. The role involves overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, counsel and discipline team members, providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all hotel facilities, room types, rates, promotions and departmental policies.
• Conduct night audit on overnight shifts, generate required reports and update guest profiles in the Opera PMS.
• Monitor check‑in and check‑out processes, anticipate critical situations and assist to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Maintain positive guest relations, anticipate needs and respond promptly at any hour.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong integrity, compassion and ability to adapt quickly to change.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Chinese language proficiency is a priority.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Property Management System (PMS) and related hotel software.
