Drug Safety Associate

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Drug Safety Associate to join its Life Sciences R&D vertical. The role focuses on pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products through systematic case management and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, enter, and process individual case safety reports (ICSRs) in the safety database.
• Perform MedDRA coding and ensure accurate data capture for adverse event reports.
• Manage case submission, follow‑up activities, and documentation according to client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support clinical, regulatory, and patient‑service solutions.
• Maintain high data quality standards and support audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or a related scientific field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for adverse event reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within defined timelines.
