Driving School Instructor / Car Trainer (LMV TR License Required)

About the role

Omsairaj Motor Driving School is seeking a dedicated Driving School Instructor / Car Trainer to deliver practical driving lessons in Thane. The role involves teaching safe driving techniques, assessing learner progress, and ensuring training vehicles are well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical driving lessons to learners of varying experience levels.
• Teach traffic rules, defensive driving, and responsible road behaviour.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Plan lesson routes aligned with training objectives.
• Maintain learner records, lesson schedules, and vehicle cleanliness.
• Report any vehicle defects promptly and ensure vehicles are mechanically fit.
• Uphold professional, patient, and respectful relationships with learners.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.

Required profile

• Valid LMV TR Driving Licence with excellent driving skills.
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.
• Educational qualification: ITI (Mechanical or Automobile Engineering) or SSC (10th) with minimum 5 years of practical car driving experience.
• Previous experience as a Driving School Instructor or Car Trainer is preferred.
• Probation: 3 months for freshers, 1 month for candidates with prior instructor experience.

Required skills

• Practical driving ability and technical knowledge of automobiles.
• Strong understanding of road safety, traffic rules, and defensive driving.
• Familiarity with roads in Thane, Kalyan, and nearby areas.
• Ability to teach patiently while maintaining high safety standards.
