Drilling Data Analyst

About the role

The Drilling Data Analyst will support wellsite drilling and workover operations by capturing, managing, and reporting data throughout the project lifecycle. You will use reporting tools to ensure accurate daily reporting of well‑site activity, KPI analytics, and time analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reporting of wellsite operations, handling configuration, loading, quality control, monitoring and troubleshooting of operational data.
• Ensure seamless data capture with reporting applications, monitoring mandatory reports, data sources, formats, units, identifiers and normal value ranges.
• Learn and maintain the reporting application, system installation, configuration and issue‑resolution processes.
• Coordinate data collection across service companies, client organisations and real‑time data providers.
• Support on‑site teams and collaborate with project, client and remote operations teams to maintain application reliability, upgrades and maintenance.
• Monitor service quality, follow incident escalation procedures and alert supervisors to potential issues.
• Implement data confidentiality standards and IT security policies for data capture, storage, transfer and archival.
• Maintain HSE scorecards and contribute to safety programmes.

Required profile

• Graduation degree in Mechanical, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent (higher degree acceptable).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics and at least 1 year in a related drilling or oil‑field environment.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new problems, and communicate effectively with managers, peers and clients.
