Draughtsman Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Draughtsman Design Engineer to create detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for water and gas isolation valve projects as well as heavy‑engineering applications. The role involves translating customer requirements into accurate design documentation using AutoCAD and Creo.

Key responsibilities

• Study pre‑order enquiries and understand technical requirements.
• Prepare design estimations, including calculations and weight assessments.
• Create proposal drawings and general arrangement drawings in AutoCAD.
• Develop layouts, conceptual designs, and 3D models of parts and assemblies in Creo.
• Generate and release Bills of Material through Wrench software.
• Attach and release final drawings in the Wrench system.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in water/gas isolation valve engineering or heavy‑engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental machine design principles.
• Ability to perform design and weight calculations.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience with Creo.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience with AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with material properties and manufacturing processes.
