Documentation Officer

About the role

The Documentation Officer will manage the organization’s documentation and communication strategies, ensuring accurate records and effective dissemination of information to donors, partners and other stakeholders. Based in Baikunthpur, the role involves close collaboration with the Regional Manager and thematic heads.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize and maintain project documents, reports and data in line with organizational standards.
• Support preparation of project proposals, progress reports and impact reports for funders.
• Develop and implement communication strategies, creating content for newsletters, websites, social media and press releases.
• Engage stakeholders through regular updates and maintain transparent relationships.
• Prepare regular reports on documentation and communication activities, analysing effectiveness.
• Assist in organizing events, workshops and conferences, handling promotional materials and documentation.
• Coordinate with the Regional Manager and thematic heads to align communication efforts with overall strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in documentation, communications or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with document management software.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
