DMU Integration Engineer – Cabin

About the role

Airbus India is looking for a DMU Integration Engineer to join the DMU Integration Team. The role focuses on multi‑system integration activities for cabin, airframe and propulsion, ensuring that configured DMUs meet Airbus design rules, safety and industrialisation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Validate the consistency between the Configured DMU and the design intent of Airbus design teams.
• Perform system integration activities (eeDMU, DMUi, SSCI, IFM) for various ATAs.
• Identify and reject design solutions that do not respect quality, design rules or integration constraints.
• Propose and implement improvements to integration processes and KPIs.
• Coordinate with a large team of specialists and experts to drive integration outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 2‑5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical system installation, design or configuration management.
• Strong attention to detail, passion for learning and ability to work in a fast‑paced, transnational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Catia V5 for 3D model creation and validation.
• Experience with DMUi and SSCI activities (preferred).
• Understanding of DMU navigation and product structure.
• Knowledge of aircraft build processes and basic aircraft systems.
• Experience with PDM/VPM tools and linking CAD models in a contextual environment.
• Ability to perform trades in system installation for ESI and MSI.
