District Account Manager – Medical Devices

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic District Account Manager to join the Joint Reconstruction team of DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company. Based in Chennai, you will drive sales of innovative medical‑device solutions across your assigned district, working closely with surgeons and key opinion leaders to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales strategies and achieve ambitious sales targets within the assigned district.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day logistics and case planning to ensure flawless execution of surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify customer requirements and create customized solutions.
• Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and stay ahead of trends.
• Provide comprehensive product knowledge and technical expertise to healthcare professionals.
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics, developing actionable improvement strategies.
• Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis for the regional sales manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the medical‑device industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
