Distribution Team Member – Loading & Unloading

About the role

The Distribution Team Member ensures that Papa John's products are loaded and unloaded safely, accurately, and on time. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling trucks, paperwork, and sanitation tasks while supporting the overall distribution operation.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Notify management of any damaged or suspect product.
• Complete required daily distribution paperwork such as receiving logs and load sheets.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment safely.
• Perform sanitation tasks on trailers and work areas according to schedule.
• Communicate with the Shift Leader and other departments about safety, product levels, and quality issues.
• Assist customers with will‑call pick‑ups as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, HACCP, and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience loading and unloading trucks preferred.
• Experience with an advanced order‑picking system preferred.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment and routinely lift up to 60 lb.
• Must be reachable in case of emergency.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Pallet jack operation (manual or electric).
• Use of technologically advanced order‑picking systems.
