About the role

Inovalon is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams and drive high‑performance delivery of its healthcare data solutions. The role focuses on people management, process improvement, and aligning technical execution with corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor managers and engineering teams across a product portfolio.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of multiple projects.
• Define goals, track metrics, and recommend process enhancements.
• Plan staffing, budgeting, and skill development; conduct succession planning.
• Oversee performance management, recruitment, and retention of top engineering talent.
• Integrate engineering, QA, and DevOps practices within an Agile framework.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver automated, market‑ready products.
• Handle escalations and represent the company with customers, partners, and industry groups.
