Director of Training – Learning & Development

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Director of Training to lead the Learning & Development function for its Insurance Operations team in India. This senior position will design, develop, and deliver both technical and soft‑skill programs, ensuring a high‑impact learning experience for colleagues across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop end‑to‑end training courses, including instructional materials, e‑learning modules, instructor‑led sessions (virtual, hybrid, and in‑person), and blended learning programs.
• Establish governance processes for regular review and update of system training content in line with system changes.
• Coordinate virtual and in‑person training sessions, facilitate workshops, and manage training certification efforts.
• Maintain training resources on the Marsh Training Hub (SharePoint) and monitor training metrics and KPIs for senior leadership.
• Create frameworks for training need identification, post‑training mentoring, and effectiveness reporting.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in learning and development or training leadership roles.
• Proven ability to design and deliver digital and virtual learning solutions.
• Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple initiatives.
• Experience in onboarding, talent development, and certification management.
• High ethical standards, innovative mindset, and strong commitment to team success.
