Director of Analytics & Business Intelligence

About the role

R1 RCM is looking for a strategic leader to head Analytics & Business Intelligence for its global Revenue Cycle Management operations. The Director will guide a large, high‑performing analytics organization, partnering with US and India stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise analytics and BI roadmap aligned with organizational priorities.
• Drive analytics‑led transformation across Patient Access, Coding, Billing, Denials, Collections and Payment Posting.
• Collaborate with executive leaders in the US and India to enhance data‑driven decision‑making.
• Lead KPI governance, reporting standardisation and analytics modernisation initiatives.
• Establish scalable self‑service analytics and BI adoption frameworks.
• Own the data integration strategy, overseeing ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses and cloud‑based analytics platforms.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security and compliance across the analytics ecosystem.
• Oversee development of executive dashboards, operational scorecards and client reporting.
• Promote visualization best practices and intuitive BI solutions for business users.
• Lead advanced analytics teams focused on forecasting, denial analytics, workforce analytics and revenue improvement.
• Identify opportunities to embed predictive analytics, AI/ML and intelligent automation within RCM workflows.
• Translate complex operational data into actionable recommendations for leadership and clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, high‑performing analytics organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders across US and India.
• Strong track record of delivering enterprise‑wide analytics and BI initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to executive audiences.
