Director of Advocacy & Corporate Affairs

About the role

Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited is seeking a senior leader to steer advocacy and corporate affairs across its growth agenda. The role will act as the public face of the organization, driving strategic engagement with government, industry bodies and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic engagement with state‑level stakeholders in Odisha to enable timely execution of growth projects.
• Oversee land acquisition, resource security (bauxite and coal) and secure regulatory approvals essential for operational continuity.
• Champion policy reforms and advocacy initiatives for the aluminium industry through associations and public forums.
• Strengthen VAML’s brand and positioning as a global leader in the metal sector.
• Cultivate and manage strategic institutional relationships to support long‑term business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred.
• More than 15 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in advocacy, corporate affairs or related fields.
• Strong business acumen, high energy, and passion for driving growth.
• Ability to represent the organization confidently on national and international platforms.
