About the role
We are seeking a Director of Medical Safety to provide expert pharmacovigilance support across all IQVIA divisions. The role leads safety activities on assigned clinical trials and independent safety projects, ensuring compliance and scientific rigor.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver medical expertise on pharmacovigilance services for multiple business units.
- Oversee safety aspects of clinical trials and stand‑alone safety projects.
- Provide global project leadership for initiatives requiring multiple medical safety advisors.
- Mentor and develop junior medical safety staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures and standards.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in medical safety and pharmacovigilance within the life‑sciences industry.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional safety projects and manage senior stakeholders.
- Strong mentorship and team‑development capabilities.
- Track record of contributing to departmental strategy and operational excellence.
