Director / CEO – India Operations

About the role

The Director / CEO – India Operations will lead the Indian subsidiary of an Austrian‑owned bio feedstock and biofuels group. Reporting to the Group Board in Austria, the role combines strategic, operational and commercial accountability while acting as the bridge between the parent company and Indian operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the India business strategy, drive revenue, profitability and long‑term growth.
• Expand the Used Cooking Oil collection network and strengthen the company’s position in the biofuel ecosystem.
• Own the full P&L, manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and ensure financial governance in line with group standards.
• Oversee end‑to‑end operations, including procurement, logistics, vendor management and supply‑chain efficiency across multiple locations.
• Build and nurture government and industry relationships, ensure compliance excellence and align local execution with global objectives.
• Lead, inspire and develop a workforce of 200+ employees, fostering a high‑performance, values‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in the biofuels, renewable energy or related industrial sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large P&L responsibilities and drive financial performance.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including government and industry engagement.
• Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams of 200+ staff across several locations.
• Ability to operate in a cross‑cultural environment and travel extensively across India and internationally.
