Direct Taxation Executive – Bengaluru

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our tax team in Bengaluru as a Direct Taxation Executive. You will work on a variety of direct tax assignments for corporates, trusts, high‑net‑worth individuals and other clients, gaining exposure to complex tax compliance and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax returns for corporates, trusts, HNIs, and individuals.
• Assist in and independently handle tax audit assignments under senior guidance.
• Draft responses to income tax notices, intimations, demand notices and refund matters.
• Prepare and file appeals before CIT(A) and ITAT.
• Represent clients before tax authorities during assessments and other proceedings.
• Resolve client queries related to taxation and business transactions.
• Draft tax opinions, technical memos and advisory notes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with direct tax exposure during articleship.
• Strong understanding of Indian Direct Tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Team player with solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
