Digital & E‑Commerce Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Digital & E‑Commerce Manager to drive online traffic, optimise marketing spend and increase revenue for our Novotel property in Kolkata. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution across search, display, email and partnership channels.

Key responsibilities

• Increase qualified website traffic and generate incremental room nights through SEM, display advertising and affiliate partnerships.
• Plan, launch and optimise SEM campaigns, ensuring best‑practice setup and ROI targets.
• Manage relationships with display media agencies, analyse performance and improve campaign ROI.
• Coordinate website content to promote key destinations and target markets.
• Develop and execute tactical promotions such as “Super Sale” and co‑operative projects with tourism organisations.
• Lead email marketing programmes, maintain database growth and use analytics to boost ROI.
• Provide e‑commerce support to indirect account managers of OTAs, co‑manage advertising campaigns and monitor KPIs.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for the General Manager, Hotel Manager and Director of Marketing & Communications.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing digital marketing programmes in a hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to track and improve KPIs.
• Excellent coordination skills with internal teams and external partners.
