Dialysis Staff Nurse – Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dialysis Staff Nurse to join our dialysis department at Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana. Reporting to the In‑charge of Dialysis, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Check and record patients' vital signs before, during, and after dialysis.
• Prepare and update individualized nursing care plans based on clinical needs.
• Notify the treating consultant promptly of any clinical deterioration.
• Assist in managing medical emergencies within the dialysis unit.
• Administer prescribed medications, including anticoagulants, antibiotics, and blood‑pressure agents.
• Maintain inventory of medicines and equipment, including crash‑cart supplies, and complete shift‑wise checklists.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Ensure confidentiality of all patient and staff communications.
• Participate in quality assurance, quality control, and continuous quality improvement activities.

Required profile

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dialysis or similar clinical setting.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and possession of a valid ID card.
• Availability to work duty hours as scheduled.

Required skills

• Medication administration (anticoagulants, antibiotics, antihypertensives).
• Vital signs monitoring.
• Inventory management of medical supplies.
• Emergency response in a dialysis environment.
