DevOps Engineer

About the role

Fortanix is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its Development team. You will help build and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid delivery of data‑centric security solutions across hybrid multicloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards for DevOps tooling.
• Automate development, testing, release and deployment processes.
• Define and embed security best‑practices early in the software lifecycle.
• Design and manage a decoupled environment for independent application and infrastructure development.
• Continuously assess and optimise the technology stack against industry trends.
• Collaborate with development, QA and security teams to align DevOps processes with testing and release needs.
• Mentor fellow engineers and promote a supportive team culture.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple locations.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for programming and cloud technologies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
