DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing B2B travel‑tech startup looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure. You will work with a young, passionate team and have direct interaction with the founders to deliver world‑class tech products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) for fast and safe deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self‑managed).
• Set up observability – logging, monitoring, alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic).
• Drive cost optimisation, capacity planning and scaling initiatives.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, RCA and blameless post‑mortems.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve reliability.
• Own cloud security posture, including IAM policies and network security.
