DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing B2B travel‑tech startup looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate highly available cloud infrastructure. You will work with a passionate team, own end‑to‑end delivery pipelines and help shape the technology foundation that powers millions of travel bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/self‑managed).
• Set up observability – logging, monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog or New Relic.
• Drive cost optimisation, capacity planning and scaling initiatives.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, RCA and blameless post‑mortems.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual toil.
• Maintain security posture of cloud resources, IAM policies and network configurations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.
