DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on leveraging AWS services and Python‑based automation to support fast, reliable software delivery for our development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CDK, Jenkins, CodePipeline and Artifactory.
• Develop reusable Python scripts and modules for infrastructure provisioning, automation, and micro‑services.
• Provision and manage core AWS services such as IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, Route53, Load Balancer, API Gateway, SNS and SQS.
• Integrate infrastructure code into deployment pipelines to ensure repeatable, automated releases.
• Collaborate with application developers to deliver secure, cost‑optimized cloud environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and debug production systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate routine operational tasks with Python, Bash and other scripting languages.
• Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, configurations and codebases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps, IT operations or software development role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across cross‑functional teams.
• Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving DevOps practices.

Required skills

• Python programming (boto3, requests, json, yaml, logging, etc.).
• AWS CDK (Python) and CloudFormation/IaC tools.
• Core AWS services: IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, Route53, Load Balancer, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS.
• Networking concepts, IAM policies and security best practices.
• Linux/Unix system administration.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Groovy scripts, CodePipeline, Artifactory.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Scripting with Bash or similar shells.
