DevOps Engineer

About the role

Thales is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Noida engineering centre. You will work within an Agile environment, taking full ownership of applications from development through to production monitoring and incident management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Automate testing, deployment and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible and scripting languages.
• Develop and manage containerised workloads using Docker, Helm and Kubernetes.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure, set up alerting, and handle incident response with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve processes, performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience working in Agile or DevOps teams.
• Ability to react quickly, be resourceful and manage the full application lifecycle.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement and sharing a clear vision.

• Cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Networking, basic cybersecurity and privacy concepts.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Helm, Kubernetes.
• Scripting and programming: Go, Python, Bash.
• CI/CD tools: GitLab pipelines, GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform, Ansible.
