DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join Contify’s fast‑growing platform. You will support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, database servers and deployment pipelines, working with AWS, Docker/EKS and CI/CD tools. This role offers the chance to build scalable, reliable and secure systems while expanding your DevOps expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) for efficient application deployments.
• Deploy, monitor and operate data‑crawling, processing and indexing services across development, staging and production.
• Manage AWS resources and containerised workloads (Docker, EKS) to ensure reliability and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and create operational documentation.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents and address security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA and DevOps teams to enhance deployment processes and platform observability.
• Participate in technical discussions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate (preferably Computer Science) with 1‑2 years of AWS experience.
• Hands‑on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools and environment provisioning (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, Elasticsearch or Solr.
• Strong Linux background, networking concepts and shell scripting (bash/sh).
• Experience with EC2, EBS, VPC, VPN, sub‑nets, ELB and disaster‑recovery procedures.
